Ronald S. Gross
Chairman

Ron Gross has over thirty years of extensive experience in all aspects of real estate – including ground up development, acquisition, finance, construction and management. Ron graduated with honors from Temple University, Philadelphia, earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in economics, and received a Degree of Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law, and was named the Barenkoph Scholar as first in his class. Ron practiced law in Philadelphia, specializing in real estate, prior to founding American Equity.

David M. Rosenberg
President

David Rosenberg began with American Equity as Property Manager for commercial properties in 1994, and became Vice President for multi-family residential operations. Under his leadership, the company was awarded Best of Apartment Living by the Apartment Associate of Greater Philadelphia several times, a distinction which has continued. David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens College, New York, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to joining American Equity, David was a television documentary producer and winner of four Emmys.

Daniel F. Gorman
Vice President/Acquisitions & Development

Dan Gorman has acquired, developed and managed numerous suburban office buildings, multi-family garden apartments and high rise condominiums, as well as adult communities throughout the country. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts, and an MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. Dan has a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker’s License and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), awarded to members of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Laura G. Rosenberg
Commercial Property Manager

Laura Rosenberg is responsible for commercial property management and tenant relations and also serves as construction coordinator for the company. She is a graduate from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Claire B. Rimler
Residential Property Manager

Claire Rimler is Residential Property Manager for American Equity. She began her career as Leasing Specialist at the English Village Apartments and is now its General Manager. Claire holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Sales License and an ARM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is currently pursuing her CPM designation.

Larry P. Kritz, CPA, MST
Controller

Larry Kritz is Controller of American Equity Properties. Larry has held the position of controller in the real estate, general contracting and construction management industry for the last ten years, and had previously practiced in public accounting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University and attained a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Drexel University. Larry is a member of the AICPA Tax Division, PICPA and PSPA.
